Message 9

Give your child many opportunities to practice the important skill of listening carefully. Listen together to the read aloud story, Sisanda’s gift. By listening to the story without any pictures to look at, your child will rely on listening only to understand the story. They will use their imaginations to form pictures in their minds about the story.

Gee jou kind talle geleenthede om die belangrike vaardigheid om aandagtig te luister, te oefen. Luister saam na die Hardoplees-storie, Sisanda se geskenk. Omdat daar nie prente is waarna jou kind kan kyk nie, moet die kind goed luister om die storie te verstaan. Hulle sal hul verbeelding gebruik om prente in hul koppe oor die storie te vorm.
